By Faith Jesus Memorized Scripture
.

The Bible says, "Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thine heart, with all thy soul, and with all thy might. And these words, which I command thee this day, shall be in thy heart: and thou shalt teach them diligently unto thy children, and thou shalt talk of them when thou sittest in thine house, and when thou walkest by the way, and when thou liest down, and when thou risest up. And thou shalt bind them for a sign upon thine hand, and they shall be as frontlets between thine eyes. And thou shalt write them upon the posts of thy house, and upon thy gates." (Deuteronomy 6:5-9.)
As a congregation, we desire to follow Christ's example of faith in memorizing Scripture. First published in 1868, the Adventist Keepsake contained Scripture verses to be memorized for each day of the year. Now we offer it to you in a pdf, with minor corrections, so that you might memorize wonderful passages relating to Christ's Second Coming, The Resurrection, The New Earth, Promises for the Time of Trouble, and many more important topics found in the Word of God.
